At Rapids Camp, we have a team of highly skilled personnel who are fully dedicated to giving you a memorable experience with 34 ground and water activities, all aimed at your enjoyment of nature. Whatever is your pleasure; guided adventures or rock climbing; water rafting or kayaking, a simple picnic or easy water games – you cannot go wrong at Rapids Camp. All our activities have been tailored around the unique natural environment created by the Sagana River such as the canyons, boulders, steep gorges, plunges and the largest falls in terms of volume in Kenya. In addition, the surrounding picturesque area makes it ideal for walks, safaris and bird watching amongst many other activities.
Since inception in 2006, Rapids Camp has grown in leaps and bounds and is now well known as the finest camp in Kenya and the leading adventure spot in Sagana. We have become a favourite natural hotspot attraction for travellers in Kenya as well as local tourism with our client base ranging from corporate companies, leading schools and organised groups. This is further shown by our drive to break into new frontiers as was the case when we hosted the first ever Kayaking Games/Olympic qualifier in Africa and was dubbed the Most Amazing Site of the year 2008 by international canoeing federation.
Our series of activities can be structured for groups of up to 250 whether for general fun or for team building. Our safety measures ensure that all our visitors’ well being is protected at all times while undertaking the different activities.
